It’s okay if the week didn’t unfold how you planned it to be. It’s okay if you spent the weekend bingeing on your favourite show. Enjoying life is productive too. It’s okay if you are laying on your bed right now and contemplating life. Thinking if you’ll always feel this way. And your thoughts are making you question your worth. Wondering if your feelings are valid just because someone has told you that they aren’t.
No matter what anyone tells you, your feelings are valid. Every single emotion that you feel right now is valid. And let me tell you that what you are feeling right now is temporary. Tomorrow will be different. The sun will bring light into your life and the universe will conspire to make everything right again.
So, leave everything on tomorrow and sleep on it, my dear friend. You don’t have to figure everything right now. Give yourself a break. Breathe in…..breathe out. Put one hand on your chest and the other on your stomach and tell yourself ”I am going to be okay”. Do it, my friend, because I assure you that you will be.
